NEW COOKIE FAVORITE FOUND! Last week I visited the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City. I tasted many, and I mean many, products. Endless cookies, truffle salt, coffee, candies, and chocolates, but a few stood out to me and you’ll hear about them in the weeks to come. Steve & Andy’s Organic cookies were one of those standouts. I truly feel lucky to have found myself wandering by Steve and Andy’s cookies during my time at the show. All of their cookies are organic AND gluten-free. It gets even better though– they even have a line of vegan, organic and gluten-free products (CALLING ALL VEGANS!). There are four flavors–  classic chocolate chip, vanilla white chocolate, oatmeal coconut and oatmeal raisin. I tasted all four of their flavors and was consistently amazed. Shockingly, there was ACTUALLY no “gluten-free” taste, for real. If you don’t believe me yet, my EXTREMELY picky brother took a chocolate chip cookie and walked away smiling, as if it was one of the processed GMO filled cookies he eats every day. I feel that these cookies are so tasty that they truly can be a healthier alternative to all of the processed snacks that live on some supermarket shelves today.
