NYCDopeFoods was founded in 2016 by Nancy Sabbagh and Rachel Kastner. If you couldn’t already tell, we really love food. As you could imagine, living in New York gives us access to some of the BEST food in the world. We are constantly surrounded by some of the best restaurants, food carts, and bars. There’s no way to experience the cultural diversity of New York City without speaking about the cuisines. Between Little Italy, Chinatown and Little India, New York is a melting pot of cuisines. We are so excited to take you along with us on all of our culinary adventures throughout the city and share some of our favorite spots, and snacks, with you!

Meet the Team
Nancy Sabbagh was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended high school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, where NYCDopeFoods was born. Nancy then attended New York University’s Stern School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Computing & Data Science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Information Technology in May of 2020. Since then she has assumed a full time position as a paid social associate on the Merck Team at Reprise Digital. Nancy continues to work on various NYCDopeFoods projects and managing aspects of the social media and blog.
Rachel Kastner was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended high school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, where NYCDopeFoods was born. Rachel then made her way to Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where she majored in Marketing and Digital & Social Media Applications, as well as a minor in Arts Management. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business in May of 2021. Rachel recently accepted a research consultant position for this upcoming summer and is continuing her search for a full-time offer. She continues to work on NYCDopeFoods’ social media and digital strategy, as well as content creation.
